Price of Ram in Nigeria

The price of ram in Nigeria is highly determined by location and size of the ram.

Research has shown that rams are way much cheaper in northern Nigeria states like Sokoto, Kano, Kaduna, Katsina and Kebbi.

These are some of the states where rams can be bought cheap in Nigeria.

From our sources, a very large sized Ram in northern Nigeria states like Sokoto, Kano, Zamfara, Katsina and Bauchi goes for price of between N75,000 to N105,000.

In contrast, price of very large ram in Lagos, Benin, Port Harcourt, Ogun, Oyo, Osun and Anambra cost price range of N95,000 to N115,000.

Mid sized ram can be bought for price range of N35,000 to N60,000 in northern Nigeria while in southern Nigeria, mid sized ram can cost between N45,000 to N70,000.

Price of Goat in Nigeria

Goats are most consumed in southern Nigeria, hence the price of goats in southern cities such as Lagos, Onitsha, Port Harcourt, Ibadan, Uyo and Benin is high when compared with what obtains in north.

The most consumed goat in Nigeria are the ones reared in north Nigeria.

They are also the most expensive goat specie in Nigeria.

In southern Nigeria, the most reared goats is west African Dwarf Goats.

The price of very large west Africa dwarf goat goes for around N20,000 to N30,000.

While mid sized west African Dwarf goat cost around N10,000 to N15,000.

The popular Hausa goat is most expensive in Nigeria.

However up north, they cheaper. Price of very large sized Hausa goat in Lagos and other southern Nigeria is around N55,000 to N60,000.

In northern Nigeria states, large sized goat can go for a price around N30,000 to N40,000.

It is cheaper to buy goats and rams from major goats markets in the state.

Fair prices and bargain can be made in these markets because of competition.
