Nigeria’s Presidential Election popularly known as Nigeria Decides is a election during which eligible Nigeria voters go to pool to vote who become Nigeria’s president and Commander in Chief of Armed Forces in Nigeria.

The Nigeria 2023 presidential election billed to take place on 25th February,2023 is a very interesting one for many reasons.

Alhaji Atiku Abubakar – Peoples Democratic Party

He is the former Vice President, retired Customs Officer and renowned entrepreneur.

Bola Ahmed Tinubu- All Progressive Congress

Bola Ahmed Tinubu who is contesting under All Progressive Congress (APC) is also ranked amongst the major candidates and contenders for Nigeria’s presidential election.

He is former governor of Lagos state and also ex senator.

Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso – New Nigeria People’s Party

Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso who is former governor of Kano state is also one of the major candidates contesting for Nigeria’s presidential election.

He is running on the platform of New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP).

When Will INEC Announce Results of Nigeria’s Presidential Election?

Announcing of presidential election results comes with lots of pressure and courage.

Unlike the Governorship elections, how long it takes before INEC will announce the winner of Nigeria’s presidential election would most likely take between 4 to 5 days from the election day which is February 25th.

However, because of the new electoral law and introduction of electronic transmission of results through BVAS, it is expected that announcement for winner of Nigeria’s presidential election would come sooner than it use to be.

When INEC will announce the winner of Nigeria’s presidential election will be after the electoral body has collated and announced the results of the pools from every states in Nigeria including FCT.
